CLARIFICATION TEXT ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

As an Ekolit Teknoloji Cihazları Dış Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("Alkalizer" or "Company"), the privacy and security of your personal data are among our top priorities. In this context, we would like to inform you of your personal data in order to fulfill our obligation to provide clarification arising from Article 10 of the Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("LPPD"). Personal data means any information that makes your identity specific or identifiable. Below are your personal data processed by Alkalizer, their intended processing, the recipient groups to which they can be transferred, the method of collection, the legal reason and your rights to such personal data.

1- Which of your personal data are processed by Alkalizer?

People who enter the website or the app installed on mobile devices by accepting the membership requirements on the Alkalizer platform and people pursuing and/or buying products on the platform are defined as "Members." If you are a member of Alkalizer platform, the following personal data may be processed.

Your Identity Information: your name, surname, gender and age information, TRIN (only processed in accordance with the legislation if you purchase certain product groups.)
• Your Contact Information: your mobile phone number, delivery address, e-mail address,
• Your Customer Transaction Information: your order and billing information, your delivery transaction information, transaction history information regarding your purchases, your request and complaint information, the information you personally share in your comments and questions in case you comment on the products on the platform and/or ask questions, using the Alkalizer assistant. Information about the content of the conversation made through the chat channel,
• Your Transaction Security Information: IP address information, password information, cookie information,
• Your Legal Transaction Information: information regarding correspondence with authorized persons, institutions and organizations, information on lawsuit and enforcement files, information regarding your legal information requests,

2- What are the purposes of processing your personal data and collection methods?

Your identity, contact, and customer transaction information: Within the scope of our contractual relationship, this information is automatically collected and processed in an electronic environment directly from you, the mobile application, or the website for the following purposes.

Execution of the processes for the establishment and performance of the contract,
• Execution and supervision of financial and accounting processes,
• Execution and supervision of the company's business activities,
* Execution of billing processes,
* Carrying out logistics, cargo activities, and tracking delivery processes,
• Making purchases through the website/mobile applications and confirming the identity of the person making the transaction,
• Providing you with a better shopping experience and carrying out activities aimed at increasing your satisfaction, especially providing you with products suitable for your preferences, which you can use in various marketing and advertising activities if you have your explicit consent,
• Increasing customer satisfaction, recognizing our customers who shop on the platform and using it to analyze the customer environment, conducting activities aimed at developing and improving the products and services offered by our company,
* Conducting strategic analysis studies,
• Conducting communication activities,
• Presentation of products that you may be interested in taking into account your interests,
• Contacting and informing about the conditions, current status and updates of the contracts concluded on our platform, pursuant to the relevant articles of the Law on Distance Sales Contract and Consumer Protection,
• Informing you about developments, opportunities and innovations at Alkalizer, in case of explicit consent,
• Recognition of our customers who shop from the website and/or mobile applications, carrying out activities for their use in customer environment analysis, and conducting surveys in electronic and/or physical environment through contracted institutions within this scope,
* Evaluation of your requests, complaints, and suggestions regarding our products and services,
• Ensuring that you receive information about the products,
• Conducting after-sales support services for goods and services,
* Execution of information security processes,
• Ensuring the safety of operations in relation to the alkalizer platform,
• Ensuring that the activities are carried out in accordance with the legislation,
• Monitoring and execution of legal affairs,
• Providing information to authorized persons, public institutions and organizations.

Your transaction security information: Within the scope of our contractual relationship, this information is automatically collected and processed electronically directly from you, the mobile application, or the website for the following purposes.

Execution of the processes for the establishment and performance of the contract,
• Execution and supervision of the company's business activities,
• Making purchases on the website/mobile applications and confirming the identity information of the transaction,
• In case of your explicit consent, conducting activities aimed at providing you with a better shopping experience and increasing your satisfaction such as being uses in various marketing and advertising activities and offering products that suit your preferences,
• Increasing customer satisfaction, getting to know our customers who shop from the platform and using them in customer environment analysis, Carrying out activities for the development and improvement of the products and services offered by our company,
• Execution of information security processes,
• Ensuring the safety of operations in relation to the alkalizer platform,
• Ensuring that the activities are carried out in accordance with the legislation,
• Providing information to authorized persons, institutions, and organizations.

Your legal transaction information: Within the scope of our contractual relationship, this information is collected and processed automatically directly from you, the mobile application, the website in the electronic environment for the following purposes.

Execution of the processes for the establishment and performance of the contract,
• Execution and supervision of the company's business activities,
• Evaluation of your requests, complaints, and suggestions regarding our products and services,
• Execution of information security processes,
• Ensuring the safety of operations in relation to the Alkalizer platform,
• Ensuring that the activities are carried out in accordance with the legislation,
• Monitoring and execution of legal affairs,
• Providing information to authorized persons, institutions and organizations.

3- What is the legal reason for the processing of your personal data?

Alkalizer processes your personal data under the title "Which personal data is processed by Alkalizer?" for the above-mentioned purposes, based on the legal compliance reasons stated in Articles 5, 8, and 9 of the LPPD and listed below.

Based on the legal reason that it is clearly stipulated in the legislation to which our company is subject, especially the Law on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce 6563, the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102, the Turkish Penal Code No. 5237 and the Law on the Protection of the Consumer No. 6502; fulfilling our obligations arising from the legislation, especially the activities aimed at ensuring the security of the operations on the company platform, executing the data security processes, ensuring that the activities are carried out in accordance with the legislation,
• Based on the legal reason that it is necessary to process your personal data, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of the contract; carrying out the activities of establishing contracts concluded on our platform under the relevant articles of the Law on the Protection of the Consumer, such as distance sales contracts, carrying out activities for the realization of your purchases, execution and supervision of the company's business activities, follow-up of delivery processes, evaluation of your requests, complaints and suggestions regarding our products and services, execution and control of finance and accounting processes, execution of communication activities,
• Based on the legal reason that it is compulsory for our company to fulfill its legal obligation; fulfilling the legal obligations specified in the decisions, guides and guides included in the secondary legislation to which our Company is subject and/or published by the competent authorities, especially the Regulation on Distance Contracts and the Regulation on Service Providers and Intermediary Service Providers in Electronic Commerce, informing the authorized persons, institutions and organizations, ensuring that the activities are carried out in accordance with the legislation, follow-up and execution of legal affairs, execution of finance and accounting works,
• Based on the legal reason that data processing is mandatory for the establishment, use or protection of a right; execution of legal and litigation affairs,
• Based on the legal reason that the processing of data is mandatory for the legitimate interests of our company, provided that it does not damage its fundamental rights and freedoms; carrying out activities aimed at the development and improvement of the products and services offered by our company,
• Based on the legal reason for your explicit consent to be found; transfer of personal data abroad.

4- For what reasons does Alkalizer transfer your personal data to whom?

Our company ensures that your personal data is processed in line with the "need to know" and "need to use" principles, by guaranteeing data minimization and implementing the required technical and administrative security measures. Since the execution or control of business activities, ensuring business continuity, operation of digital infrastructures require continuous data flow with different stakeholders, we have to transfer the personal data we process to third parties for certain purposes. In addition, it is very important that your personal data is accurate and up-to-date in order for us to fully and properly fulfill our contractual and legal obligations. For this purpose, we have to work with various business partners and service providers.

Your personal data can be shared especially for the purposes of executing the marketplace operation, executing the delivery processes of the products you ordered, managing your help and support requests for your processes, executing activities to increase your experience and satisfaction, carrying out activities for the development and improvement of the products and services offered by our company, providing you with a better shopping experience and carrying out activities to increase your satisfaction, ensuring business continuity, ensuring information security, and fulfilling legal obligations, to the extent necessary, and limited to the purposes specified in the second article of this Clarification Text:

Based on legal reasons such as the fact that it is explicitly stipulated in the legislation that our company is subject to, that it is mandatory for it to fulfill its legal obligations, and that it is necessary for the formation or execution of the contract,

With the seller of the product and the service provider for the purpose of conducting the purchasing processes,
• In order to carry out logistics activities and follow up the delivery processes, your information and/or the person information on whose behalf the product will be delivered, with the seller of the purchased product, cargo companies and private couriers,
• In order to carry out the billing processes, our business partners, with the seller of the purchased product, our consultants and service providers, banks, financial advisors,
• For the provision of goods and services sales and after-sales support services, with business partners and other service providers providing call center services,
• With business partners and service providers who provide services in the field of quality control, complaint management and risk analysis of services,
• For the management of financial and accounting processes, identification and evaluation of risks, prevention of fraud, with our relevant business partners, consultants and service providers, banks, financial advisors,
• To send the customer an e-invoice electronically with the e-invoice business partner; for the purpose of physical contract or invoice delivery with cargo and courier companies, with our business partners who provide private integrator, independent audit, customs, financial advisor/accounting services,
• To fulfill tax obligations with tax offices, with the officials of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance of the invoices and collection receipts during tax audits,
• With our business partners and service providers that provide, operate our IT infrastructure or provide services,
• With our business partners who provide services in the field of execution of risk management and financial reporting processes,

Based on the legal reasons such as the obligation of data processing for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right, on the fact that it is expressly provided for in the legislation to which our company is subject, and that it is compulsory for the fulfillment of its legal obligation;

Within the scope of fulfilling legal obligations, it can be shared with lawyers, auditors, forensic experts, cyber security consultants, tax consultants, and other third parties and business partners from whom we receive consultancy and services,
• with regulatory and supervisory institutions and authorized public institutions and organizations such as courts and enforcement offices, and
• with other public institutions or organizations that are authorized to request your personal data, with our domestic and/or abroad affiliates, suppliers, business partners, contracted banks, and third parties from whom we purchase products or services.

1- Which of your personal data are processed by Alkalizer?

People who follow and/or buy products on the platform without being a member of the Alkalizer platform are defined as “Guest Members”. Your personal data listed below are processed during your use of the Alkalizer platform as a guest member and during your shopping.

• Your Customer Transaction Information: order and details, invoice details, delivery transaction information, transaction history information about your purchases, request and complaints,
• Your Transaction Security Information: IP address information, cookie information,
• Your Legal Transaction Information: information in correspondence with authorized persons, institutions and organizations, the information contained in case files and enforcement files, information on our legal information requests,
• Your Audio Recording Information: if you contact the call center, please provide an audio recording.

2- What are the purposes of processing your personal data and collection methods?

Your identification, contact, and customer transaction information; are automatically collected and processed electronically from you, the mobile application, or the website, for the following purposes.

• Conducting after-sales support services for goods and services,
* Execution of information security processes,
• Ensuring the safety of operations in relation to the Trendyol platform,
• Ensuring that the activities are carried out in accordance with the legislation,
• Monitoring and execution of legal affairs,
• Providing information to authorized persons, institutions and organizations.

Your transaction security information: This information is automatically collected and processed electronically from you, the mobile application, or the website, for the following purposes.

Execution of the processes for the establishment and performance of the contract,
• Execution and supervision of the company's business activities,
• Making purchases through the website/mobile applications and confirming the identity information of the person making the transaction,
• Carrying out activities aimed at the development and improvement of the products and services offered by our company,
* Execution of information security processes,
• Ensuring the safety of operations in relation to the Alkalizer platform,
• Ensuring that the activities are carried out in accordance with the legislation,
• Providing information to authorized persons, institutions and organizations.

Your legal transaction information: This information is collected and processed automatically from you, the mobile application, the website in the electronic environment for the following purposes.

Execution of the processes for the establishment and performance of the contract,
• Execution and supervision of the company's business activities,
• Carrying out activities aimed at the development and improvement of the products and services offered by our company,
* Evaluation of your requests, complaints, and suggestions regarding our products and services,
* Execution of information security processes,
• Ensuring the safety of operations in relation to the Alkalizer platform,
• Ensuring that the activities are carried out in accordance with the legislation,
• Monitoring and execution of legal affairs,
• Providing information to authorized persons, institutions and organizations.

3- What is the legal reason for the processing of your personal data?

• Based on the legal reason that it is compulsory for our company to fulfill its legal obligation; fulfilling the legal obligations specified in the decisions, guides and guides included in the secondary legislation to which our Company is subject and/or published by the competent authorities, especially the Regulation on Distance Contracts and the Regulation on Service Providers and Intermediary Service Providers in Electronic Commerce, informing the authorized persons, institutions and organizations, ensuring that the activities are carried out in accordance with the legislation, follow-up and execution of legal affairs, execution of finance and accounting works,
• Based on the legal reason that data processing is mandatory for the establishment, use or protection of a right; execution of legal and litigation affairs,
• Based on the legal reason that the processing of data is mandatory for the legitimate interests of our company, provided that it does not damage its fundamental rights and freedoms; carrying out activities aimed at the development and improvement of the products and services offered by our company,
• Based on the legal reason for your explicit consent to be found; transfer of personal data abroad.

4- For what reasons does Alkalizer transfer your personal data to whom?

With the seller of the product and the service provider for the purpose of conducting the purchasing processes,
• In order to carry out logistics activities and follow up the delivery processes, your information and/or the person information on whose behalf the product will be delivered, with the seller of the purchased product, cargo companies and private couriers,
• In order to carry out the billing processes, our business partners, with the seller of the purchased product, our consultants and service providers, banks, financial advisors,

Within the scope of fulfilling legal obligations, it can be shared with lawyers, auditors, forensic experts, cyber security consultants, tax consultants, and other third parties and business partners from whom we receive consultancy and services,
• with regulatory and supervisory institutions and authorized public institutions and organizations such as courts and enforcement offices, and
• with other public institutions or organizations that are authorized to request your personal data, with our domestic and/or abroad affiliates, suppliers, business partners, contracted banks, and third parties from whom we purchase products or services.

HOW DOES Alkalizer PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

The personal data shared with Alkalizer is under the supervision and control of Alkalizer. Alkalizer has assumed responsibility as data controller for establishing the necessary organization and taking and adapting technical measures to protect the confidentiality and integrity of data in accordance with the provisions of the relevant legislation in force. Aware of our obligation in this regard;

In accordance with international and national technical standards on data privacy, penetration tests are conducted at periodic intervals.
• Your personal data that you transmit to Alkalizer through the website, mobile site, and mobile application are protected using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology.
* Risk analyses are carried out regularly regarding personal data processing activities and actions are taken to reduce the risks.
* Access and authorization controls are applied to prevent unauthorized access to personal data.
• In this context, we inform you that we are always updating our data processing policies.

YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING THE PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

By applying to our Company using the methods in the "Communication for Your Rights and Requests" section of this Clarification Text,

You have the right to find out if your personal data has been processed,
• Request information about it if it has been processed,
• Find out the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used for their intended purpose,
• Be informed of the third parties to whom it has been transferred at home or abroad,
• Request correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrectly processed,
• Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the LPPD,
• Request notification of the actions performed in accordance with your rights in the form of correction, deletion and destruction mentioned above to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
• Object to the emergence of a result against you by analyzing your processed personal data exclusively with automated systems,
• Request compensation for your loss if you suffer damage due to the processing of your personal data in violation of the relevant legislation.

In this context, for the individual written applications to the address of Ivedik osb Melih Gökçek Bulv.Eminel İş Merkezi No: 58 Yenimahalle/Ankara, we kindly request that only the front side of the identity card (the section that contains information on blood type and religion should not be visible) be presented along with the application form.

**We request that the statement "Personal Data Protection Law Relevant Person Request" be written on the notification envelope of the application form or on the subject part of the e-mail.

If you, as personal data owners, submit your requests regarding your rights to ALKALIZER, ALKALIZER will finalize your request for free no later than 30 (thirty) days. However, in the event that the response to your application requires a cost in accordance with the legislation, ALKALIZER may charge a fee at the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.

ABOUT THE CLARIFICATION TEXT

Alkalizer reserves the right to update this Clarification Text on the Protection of Personal Data at any time, within the scope of amendments to the applicable legislation.
